AB - Within specific ecological condition of Orlovača cave existed living world failing rich and large in number. They are adapted on absentia light as well as the other characteristic ecology parameter. On an occasion of researching and organizing Orlovača cave, several representative organisms were discovered. They have been convalescent at the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade. Climate parameters like air temperature and air humidity have been measured in some parts of the cave system which has provided a better understanding of microclimatic characteristics of the Orlovača cave as a habitat of troglobites as a specific cave fauna. In addition, Orlovača cave is a paleontological locality of the cave bear. In this research we created web oriented data base for presenting results and teaching students.

Belgrade: Intra-urban daily migrations of labor, pupils and students

AB - Daily migrations of population represent a very significant and developed social phenomenon which, in the conditions of transition in Serbia, does not have the previous spatial and demographic expressiveness. Nevertheless, the complex significance of the scientific explanation of convergent and divergent daily migrations of the centers of larger and smaller functional capacity is indisputable. Consequently, the intra-urban daily movements of labor, pupils and students will be dealt with within the planned and formal borders of the Belgrade settlement among 10 urban municipalities. According to a special statistical data processing of the 2002 population census, 316 817 of its permanent residents participated in these movements or 4.2% of the total population of Serbia without the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohia, whereof most of them are workers. Their daily movement and commute within the borders of the city contributes to a great extent to the dynamical circulation of people and intensive transportation flows among some parts of Belgrade, as well as the changes in the concentration of their total population throughout the working day.
AB - Fenomen dnevnih migracija stanovništva predstavlja važnu i veoma razvijenu društvenu pojavu koja u Srbiji, u uslovima tranzicije, nema raniju prostornu i demografsku izraženost.

AB - Belgrade as the capital of the Republic of Serbia represents, among others, one of the leading metropolises of Southeastern Europe and Balkan Peninsula. Its gravitation impacts-convergent and divergent, exceed to a great extent the borders of mother country. On basis of available data, by the census of 2002, it is for certain that 134,415 migrants - workers, pupils and students are moving daily to Belgrade and from Belgrade towards closer and broader surroundings, but mass of convergent daily migration is larger (120,585 migrants or 89.7%) than mass of divergent daily movements (13,830 migrants or 10.3%). Daily urban system of Belgrade includes considerable area of many diverse kinds and types of settlements where from the city receives daily migrants and wherein it gives the migrants daily.

Njegovi gravitacioni uticaji - konvergentni i divergentni, u velikoj meri prevazilaze granice matične države. AB - In this article, which is an integral part of our announcement published in the previous number of this publication, we examined commuting of school children and youth toward Čačak as well as from Čačak toward surrounding settlements in which, according to the census results in 2002, 2,330 pupils and students took part. The volume of pupils’ and students’ daily migrations of Čačak is approximately 4.3 times lower compared to the convergent and divergent daily migrations of its labor. That is why this type of continual daily migration has less importance in integration and transformation of the settlement network of Čačak and neighboring functional centers.

About anthropogeographic researches of settlements in South Eastern Serbia

AB - Settlements in South Eastern Serbia (1439 in total) were anthropogeographically researched in past, mostly several decades ago. Some newer studies of settlements and origins of population, since the beginning of the 1990s until present, have mostly been treating the issues of particular settlements. Cvijic's anthropogeographic conception, established in the early phase of development of scientific geography in Serbia at the end of 19th century, has been prevailing in the research of villages. In the research of urban settlements, modem complex geographical approach has been prevailing, neglecting the anthropogeographical attributes. The necessity of scientifically founded anthropogeographic knowledge on settlements, in this as well as in other areas of Serbia, is evident, both in science and in different fields of social practice. This knowledge would be based on traditional achievements of Serbian anthropogeographic school, as well as on contemporary achievements in the area of investigations of settlements.

abstract = "Settlements in South Eastern Serbia (1439 in total) were anthropogeographically researched in past, mostly several decades ago. This knowledge would be based on traditional achievements of Serbian anthropogeographic school, as well as on contemporary achievements in the area of investigations of settlements., Naselja jugoistočne Srbije, kojih sada ima ukupno 1.439, su antropogeografski proučena znatnim delom u prošlosti, pre više decenija. AB - According to its functional capacity and the range of convergent and divergent gravitational influences, Čačak belongs to the group of macroregional centers of Serbia, with spatially and demographically strongly expressed and branchy urban system. In this article, we have analyzed daily convergent and divergent areas of labor force only, while other segments of urban system of Čačak will be treated in our forthcoming articles. Every day 10011 people travel toward Čačak, as well as from the city toward surroundings, to work or study. In the convergent daily gravitation, 8537 commuters take place (6592 workers or 77.2%, and 1945 schoolchildren and students or 22.8%), of which workers traveling from 166 settlements situated in the city surrounding. Divergent daily urban influence of Čačak has significantly smaller mass - 1474 commuters (1089 workers or 73.9%, and 385 pupils and students or 26.1%), as well as less settlements toward which distribution workers of commuters is distributed (91 settlements). Daily urban area of labor force of Čačak is wider and demographically more expressed comparing to the same area of pupils and students.
AB - Po funkcionalnom kapacitetu i dometu konvergentnih i divergentnih gravitacionih uticaja Čačak spada u red makroregionalnih centara Srbije sa prostorno i demografski izraženim i razgrana-tim urbanim sistemom. U ovom radu smo sagledali samo dnevni konvergentni i divergentni areal radne snage a ostale segmente urbanog sistema Čačka tretiraćemo u našim sledećim radovima.

AB - The village Zelenci is situated 25 km southwest of Banja Luka, surrounded with low mountains, on the valley sides of Zelena river. It belongs to the disperse type of settlements. It covers four hamlets (Živkovići, Milekići, Popovići and Vasiljevići) divided by agricultural and forest area. Nowadays village, according to the tales, existed in Turkish period. Even more, it is built on remaining of ancient settlement (archaeological localities from Bronze age, Gradina locality etc). Inhabitants, whose origin was not researched in details until now, according to the locals, have their origins in Montenegro and Kosovo. Zelenci has negative demographic (in 1961 - 337 inhabitants, in 2003 - 89 inhabitants) and overall development after the Second World War and 60s. During this period, mainly because of permanent migrations toward Banja Luka and Novi Sad, Zelenci is changing its appearance, functional and anthropogeographic characteristics. Today four families live in Zelenci (hamlets are named by them), in 29 permanently settled houses (in 1981 - 47 houses, and in 1991 - 29 houses).
Spada u naselja razbijenog tipa. - 337, a 2003. - 89 stanovnika) i sveukupni razvoj. U ovom periodu zahvaljujući pre svega selidbenim migracijama usmerenim uglavnom prema Banjoj Luci i Novom Sadu, menja svoja fizionomska, funkcionalna i antropogeografska svojstva. - 47, a 1991. -29 kuća).
