Спелеолошки објекти геодиверзитета парка природе Голија

Abstract

Mount Golija was originally protected as a nature park in 2001, and in the same year its larger part was declared a Biosphere Reserve under the protection of UNESCO. Golija is protected due to its significant biodiversity values. However, there are a large number of protected geosites on the territory of the Nature Park. In recent years, detailed research has been carried out in order to register all geoheritage objects. Special attention was paid to the few but interesting speleological objects of geoheritage. So far, five objects have been investigated, mapped and recorded. They are smaller in size, but of very interesting genesis and geological structure.
