AB - In this study, the landscape suitability assessment was used to quantify and map the relationships between landscape functions (agriculture production, recreational tourism and mineral resources exploitation). Obtained results can be treated in two ways. The greatest potentials for conflict are observed in the multifunctional landscapes of Branicevo District, where the mapped landscape functions carry high values. In the same way, the values obtained by determining the degree of suitability reflect development opportunities, and indicate terrains most suitable for the development of agriculture production and recreational tourism. The methodological approach is based on the combined application of the Relative Relief Evaluation Method and V-Wert method. GIS data processing produced synthesis maps, which presented spatial units, grouped into categories with values conditioned by the heterogeneous landscape structure. Spatial units indicating high and conditionally high level of potential conflict between agriculture production and recreational tourism occupy an area of 16.01%, while spatial units where high and conditionally high level of potential conflict between all three landscape functions occupy 4.91% of the district. The most suitable terrains for agriculture production development occupy 23.17% of the area, while the spatial units indicating terrains most valuable for recreational tourism development occupy 7.43% of the study area.

AB - Consequence of impact of the surface exploitation on the environment is manifested in the form of physical, social, and environmental conflicts. The dominant conflicts of the Kolubara lignite basin space occurs between mining and agriculture, which indicates the importance of the process of rehabilitation and revitalization of contaminated land and its effective bringing to the original purpose. Another significant conflict appears between the existing settlements and mining, infrastructural, water management and other facilities, which are located in areas of mining works, so the solution is in their displacement. As consequence of development of the mining-energy industrial system there is an adverse impact on the environment, which is reflected in the pollution of air, land, groundwater and surface water. Ecological dimension of this conflict presents clear and limiting factor for the mine development, which directly points that the economic development of mining basin 'Kolubara' is directed toward the rational exploitation of natural resources (coal, water, land, ect.). In the process of harmonization of these conflicts, it is necessary to take into account that the energy policy acts at the national level, as the public interest, and therefore has priority over all other interests.

AB - More than 40 towns in Serbia, connected to gas net work supply system, also have present district heating systems, which in most cases use natural gas as fuel. Since, building of parallel systems, for supplying the same consumers, is techno-economically unjustifiably and energetically not rational, it is necessary to investigate harmonization of both systems development, with goal to achieve optimal techno-economic effects of such systems. This paper analyses possibilities of harmonized development of gas supply and district heating systems in our towns, considering investment and exploitation costs of both systems.
U radu se u tom cilju analizira mogućnost usklađenosti razvoja toplifikacionog i gasovodnog sistema u našim gradovima imajući u vidu specifičnosti investicionih i eksploatacionih troškova oba sistema.
