Утицај старосне и образовне структуре становништва југоисточне Србије на сектор личне потрошње

Abstract

Структуру потрошње, поред низа других фактора, у великој ме- ри опредељују они који произилазе из кретања становништва, дакле, факто- ри демографске природе. У овом раду посебна пажња биће посвећена об- јашњењу везе између старости и школске спреме, са једне стране, и обима и структуре личне потрошње (потрошње домаћинстава) са друге стране. Ути- цај ове две (социодемографске) варијабле на структуру и обим потрошње домаћинстава је евидентан и показује значајну правилност, што потврђује економска теорија и пракса. Међутим, на овом месту бавићемо се демо- графијом, односно утицајем старосне и образовне структуре становништва на кретања у сфери личне потрошње. Свакако да у Србији (регионално посматрано) постоје разлике у просечној висини дохотка домаћинстава и ценама добара и услуга као битним одредницама личне потрошње, али нам извесне правилности, испољене у овој сфери на нивоу целе Србије, могу послужити за доношење релативно поузданих закључака о утицају старосне и образовне структуре становништва југоисточне Србије на структуру и обим личне потрошње становништва у овом делу наше земље.

The established regularities between demographic variables such as age and educational structure of the population of South-Eastern Serbia, on the one hand, and household consumption structure, on the other hand, lead us to next conclusion. Age structure of South-Eastern Serbia population is a factor of increased consumption because of existential reasons, but the scale of this increase is very low, not because of the small differences in age structure, but because of specific influences of different age group shares on changes in the consumption of certain goods and services. Educational structure of the population of South-Eastern Serbia is also a factor of increased consumption because of existential reasons, but to a larger extent than age structure. However, differences in educational structure of the population of South-Eastern Serbia, and of Serbian population in total, are significant, but specific changes in the consumption of certain goods and services according to the education of the household head, are such that significant differences in educational structure of these two territories did not lead to different consumption structure at a larger extent. It is obvious that demographic variables, with a whole variety of other factors, have negative influence on household consumption structure, shifting it to existential distribution of household budget, and, if we know that household consumption structure can be used as the life standard index, we can say that demographic variables in this part of Serbia seem to be an intensifying element of uneven regional development between this and some other parts of our country.
